Kvetnica was founded in 1881, when the first building for spa and recreational purposes was finished. Surrounding land was rearranged in 1889. Spas, a post, private summer-houses and tourist hostels were built later.
Nowadays the settlement is used for recreational purposes, especially for healing respiratory illnesses. You will find there a nice park with paths and a small lake.
