A relax-sport center AquaCity in Poprad utilizes a geothermal energy coming from a drill well with a temperature of almost 50 °C. The area is open all year long and special with rustless swimming pools and UV water cleaning.
AquaCity Poprad offers convenient and luxurious accommodation in two hotels with overall capacity of 160 beds. It is an excellent place for organizing conferences, business talks, exhibitions, gala evenings and other business events. A fully technically equipped congress hall with a capacity of 300 seats, a conference room with 90 seats and a saloon with 30 seats are also at your disposal.
In the center there you can also find a 50 m long swimming pool and all year open pools with thermal water (36 - 38 °C) where all visitors are invited to try attractions such as: a water mushroom, jacuzzi, swinging bell and toboggans.
Indoor relaxation swimming pool Blue Diamond and a swimming pool Sapphire belong to the most attractive ones. Both swimming pools are filled with crystal clear water containing almost 20 different minerals favorable to health.
Another attraction is a Vital World with a complex of saunas (menthol, steam, salt, Finnish, flower type) and a snow cave where it really snows all year long. In the AquaCity you can take an active rest in a fully equipped fitness centre. The whole center is secured by a modern tourniquet system scanning waterproof wristband chips.
What is new in the AquaCity is a crypto therapy. It is based on exposure of body to very low temperatures (between -100 and -160 °C) for a very short time. The goal is to evoke the defense mechanisms in human body.
